DTV Transition on June 12.

As of June 12, 2009, all analog TV stations will stop broadcasting the familiar analog signal. After that date, you will need a digital tv or a digital converter box to continue to recieve signals broadcast over the air. This does not affect those with cable TV or satellite TV. If you already have a converter box or a digital tv, you may want to consider upgrading your TV antenna to better receive these signals. antennaweb.org has an application to help you determine if you need a new antenna, and to help you in your selection. In addition to being prepared for the switch by obtaining new equipment, you may need to rescan the channels that are programmed into your TV, as some on-air frequencies may be changing.
